So you want to bring an author to your school…but how are you going to pay for it?
As an educator and author, I understand how difficult it can be to procure funding for special events. While hosting author visits and PD sessions may be beneficial to an institution, finding the resources to pay for these events is often impossible.
That’s why, with the help of other creators, I’ve compiled a list of options to help you take action. Below you will find dozens of grants, funds, and resources you can use to give your students and colleagues the chance to learn from a visiting educator. While some are specific to schools, others are general sources from large corporations that aim to provide supplemental funds to applicants.
