Just one of those days

Do you ever have one of those days when EVERYTHING goes wrong.

I was out of the classroom yesterday to attend a workshop.
An all day workshop. On one of the sunniest, warmest days we’ve had in a LONG time.

The workshop was fine but the icing on the cake was that I would celebrate the end of a long week/day by going to happy hour with some of my teacher friends.

Got to the restaurant…sat in my car (as I was the first one there). I started to charge my cell phone with the engine turned off…suddenly I noticed my radio was going in and out…I started the ignition….nothing.

It made some weird clicking sound.

I popped the trunk to see what was happening…because I know a little something about cars (I don’t know a thing about cars, I just knew that the trunk is where the battery thingy is).

So clearly, I wasn’t going anywhere.  Had the car towed to a place recommended by a friend, and they were kind enough to lend me a loaner car.

Drove home, parked in the Visitor spot in the parking garage and went to dinner with the hubby.

On our way home…I notice that the car is not in the spot I left it in. It’s gone.
The car (which wasn’t even our car) had been towed.

I called the towing company, and was informed that the car had no license plates! WHAT?!
I didn’t even notice they were missing.

I had to call the shop, let the kid working know what happened.  He stopped by my place to pick up the keys so he could go get the car from the pound.

Also, I had left my Erin Condren planner in the backseat…I hope it’s still there!!

Now, I’m waiting for my friend to give me a ride to pick up MY car which should be ready.

WORST FRIDAY EVER!

UGH!
But the good news is, my car is fixed…and the hubby and I are going to Trader Joes. Yum!

I’m not a huge sports fan but I’ve heard some talk about a big game this weekend… 😉

So sorry to hear you had such a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day–just like Alexander. But, glad today is better. Now, I don't know where you live, but here in Indiana we are just bracing for a couple more snow warnings, so get prepared for those, depending on where you live. I hope tomorrow will be a wonderful, glorious, very good day for you. :))
